Green Key presents international environmental award to Hilton Garden Inn London Heathrow
Representatives from Keep Britain Tidy presented Hilton Garden Inn London Heathrow General Manager Richard Lee with the international Green Key Award earlier this week.
The hotel joins the Heathrow Marriott and the Sheraton Skyline to become the third hotel within the immediate vicinity of the airport to hold the prestigious award.
Skyscanner releases new research into consumer attitudes towards sustainable travel
Over the last 18 months, everything has changed, and that includes people's attitudes towards sustainability - both in their everyday lives and when it comes to how they travel. In this context, Skyscanner in cooperation with YouGov conducted research to better understand how the pandemic has impacted people's attitudes and behaviour around more responsible air travel.

Booking.com has released a new Travel Sustainable Badge that is accessible to all global partners to gain recognition through the programme, whilst making it simpler for travellers to find eco-conscious establishments.
Reflections on COP26

We were honoured to present on stage in the Green Zone at the Glasgow Science Centre, alongside global representatives from the Foundation for Environmental Education, Eco-Schools, Blue Flag and Young Reporters for the Environment.

Green Key England are thrilled to be attending the UN Climate Conference alongside representatives from the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE).
FEE will be hosting a talk in the Green Zone on Tuesday 2nd November 3.30-5pm in the Science Show Theatre entitled ‘Climate Action – Harnessing the Power of Networks!’.

Green Key England partnered once more with Hotel 360 in London to showcase our Eco-Label and network among the industry to inspire more hotels to join the programme. The past 18 months have raised many challenges for the hospitality industry but our display was well received.
The Sandcastle makes a splash with their second Green Key award
The Sandcastle Waterpark in Blackpool have renewed their Green Key award for the second year in a row! They remain the only attraction in England to hold the award and we hope that others will now follow in their footsteps to green their tourism businesses and showcase how important it is that establishments from all sectors of the industry get involved.
