There are 3 simple steps to achieving Green Key certification:

Step 1: Complete an environmental review. Use the Green Key criteria to complete an environmental review of your business.
Note: You only need to be able to achieve the imperative criteria for the first year application.

Step 2: On-site audit. Once you have submitted your application form we will review this and then arrange an on-site audit by one of our Green Key Assessors. This audit involves a review of paperwork and processes and a visual inspection of the establishment.

Step 3: Award decision. Following the audit our findings are reviewed by an independent ‘National Jury’ to confirm the decision. If you are successful in achieving Green Key you will receive a plaque and certificate. This is the time to shout about your success and tell your customers about all the great actions you are taking for greater sustainability.
